India to protest over reports of spying on BJP by US in 2010

Reports emerged yesterday that the US has allowed it’s national investigation agency NSA to spy on six political parties of the world, of which, India’s BJP was one, in 2010. The info is based on Edward Snowden’s wikileaks documents. Pakistan’s PPP and Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood were also investigated upon, as per the same documents. Information minister Prakash Javdekar took strong objections to the news and announced that the government would lodge a formal complaint with the US government on the issue.
