Indian cricket team has been having a tough time over the last several months. Their tours have turned disastrous, many star batsmen failed, bowling has continued to be a worry, fingers started being raised at the most successful captain too. They have hardly played any T20’s in the last one year or so. The two practice matches ended fifty fifty, but the first match raised serious concerns with regard to batting positions and the mindset of key batsmen.

Ahead of the first match in the big hunt of the cup, India has one solace though, that Pakistan has never beat India in a World cup T20 game! Shahid Afridi rattled nerves of Indian team and crores of cricket fans also in the recent face offs, but the Boom Boom Afridi is known for his volatility. Pakistani Captain has said yesterday that the coming back of Dhoni will give India huge mental stability. Pakistan have hugely failed in their warmup match against South Africa, raising fears of weak morale as they get ready for the crucial opener against arch rivals. Inzamam expressed the same fear, advising the team to play freely.

The key players for India would be Kohli, Raina, Yuvraj, Shami, Ashin and Dhoni. For Pakistan, Ajmal, Gul, Afridi, Akmal and Hafeez have to deliver.

It will be a fine, emotionally high strung, full house match tomorrow evening at Mirpur.
