Indian govt. approached Saudi to help in releasing Indian Iraq captives?

Indian government reportedly has asked for the help of the Saudi Arabian government in securing the release of the abducted Indians in Mosul by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria militants. The Sunni ruler ship of Saudi is believed to have some influence over the Sunni militants of ISIS. The militants are currently busy in attacking Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. Yesterday, some 16 Indians who escaped from the strife zones have been rescued by the Indian authorities and safely sent home.
