IPL: Son of a coolie becomes crorepati

nathuIt’s literally from rags to riches! For Nathu Singh, the 20-year-old pacer, life has turned full 360 degrees overnight. He was offered 3.2 crore by Mumbai Indians and got him in the IPL auction conducted on Saturday for the next season. Nathu Singh was son of a coolie (daily wage laborer) in a local factory in Jaipur. The family has been struggling hard to eke out a living with the paltry amount that Nathu’s father is earning. “The troubles are over now. I can offer a good life to my parents. I will construct a big house in Jaipur and present it to my parents” Nathu said with emotion choking his voice.
