Issues raised by Modi with Sharif

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is learned to have raised five issues with the Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif in their first discussion just a while ago.

He has made it clear that the terror attacks with or without the direct involvement of Pakistani government have to stop. The 26/11 blast case probe status has been quite unsatisfactory, said Modi. Though the perpetrators of the attack, persons like Hafeez Saeed are roaming freely in Pakistan, there have been no efforts from the Pak govt. to contain them. Pakistan is also sponsoring terror in the region which has to stop and it has to show real intent in anti terror mechanisms in the area. The secretary level talks between the countries also need to be resumed, reminded Modi to Sharif.
