On Tuesday K Taraka Rama Rao the Telangana Panchayat Raj and IT Minister said getting safe drinking water was the primary right of people. It was just in the case of the right to education and the right to information.
At Choutuppal Market Yard while laying foundation stone for the State government’s prestigious Drinking Water Grid, along with Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy, the IT Minister said the State government was committed to rooting out the menace of the fluoride problem in Nalgonda district.
KTR said, “Our aim is to provide succour to the people facing acute drinking water problem in three years”. He further added, “The CM would launch the water grid works soon from Nalgonda district. In the first phase the government would provide safe drinking water to the people of Nalgonda and extend the same to other districts later.”
