Chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao expressed happiness that the present budget replicated the poll manifesto of Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He also claimed that the present budget has given equitable and balanced allocations to all sectors. He feels it an ambitious budget and congratulated the Finance minister Etela Rajendar.
Schemes like Kalyana Laxmi never heard in the history and implemented by any state government have found place in budget. The priority is been given to drinking water grid, lands to the Dalits, construction of roads, renovation of tanks are given importance. He added saying that the budget was prepared keeping promises made during the elections and items in manifesto. He needed public participation over release of funds in getting results.
The budget session of the Telangana Assembly would have 14 working days and conclude on november 22.
