Jagan Announces Protests in AP From Nov 5

Untitled-16The YSR Congress Party has decided to go on protests state-wide in Andhra Pradesh starting November 5 against the apathy of Naidu government towards the victims of cyclone Hudhud and the failure of the state government in fulfilling poll promises.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, party chief, after completing eight-day tour to the cyclone-hit areas, have announced the plan for the protests.

“TDP Government has been found wanting on all counts from carrying out relief and rehabilitation works in the cyclone ravaged areas and has been deceiving farmers and DWACRA women groups by going back on its poll promise of waiving loans”, said Jagan.

“We have to strongly question the State government on its failures and we will hold dharnas at all mandal headquarters demanding the State to provide relief and rehabilitation to the cyclone affected people besides waiving the loans as assured to the farmers and women groups and shun from slashing the pensioners’ list”, added Jagan.
