The opposition leader of AP assembly Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy called the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu a criminal. He alleged that Babu would stoop to any low to achieve his political purpose. Jagan said that when he asked Babu about the forced acquiring of the land for the capital, he (Jagan) was branded anti capital city. He said in his manifesto that if voted to power his government would spend Rs. 5000 crores for Kapus but did not keep the promise. He reminded that Mudragada gave a call for rail roko after speaking at Tuni public meeting for 15 minutes. Then how can Babu ask that only six channels knew before hand about it? ‘Doesn’t it mean a warning to other channels not to cover Kapu news?’ he asked.
Meanwhile two AP ministers said that Mudragada was squarely responsible for the violence. The Home Minister China Rajappa said that Telugu Desam party was in way connected to Tuni incident. He asked Mudragada to speak with responsibility. He alleged that Mudragada incited thousands of Kapus to violence. Another minister Narayana said that even if GO was issued now, it will not be valid, hence it is not right to demand it.
