Ex CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has announced the name of his new political party in a press meet in Hyderabad today. “Jai Samaikyandhra” (Telugu vaari aatma gouravam, tagline) is the name and agenda he would be going to public with. Speaking on the occasion, he has accepted that Digvijay Singh did tell him not to start a new party, “I did not listen to him when i was in the party, how would i listen to him now?” Kiran quipped.
Kiran has also ridiculed Chandra Babu as a leader who could not raise his voice for Samaikyandhra in the assembly, “how can he suggest a fighter like me to join with a weak leader like him, it would be shame to me,” he said in return.
Kiran chose to continue with his figures quoting as he has been doing in each and every meeting of his. He reminded that as per his agenda he went to the Supreme Court questioning the bifurcation. He expressed confidence that the call for unification will now come from Telangana. Showing a stone as from the broken Germany wall, he felt that such historical facts should work as inspiration to Telugu people here.
Founder President is Chundru Srihari, Kiran will be working President, Sai Pratap, Undavalli Arun Kumar, Sabbam Hari, Harsha Kumar, Shailaja Nath, Pitani Satya Narayana will be other key members, Gen. Secretary is Tulasi Reddy and many others in official posts.
Lagadapati will be a driving force and interlinking person to the party, with no official post as of yet.
The meeting will happen in Rajamandri, as that is where the public is, whether a permission is given or not, declared Kiran.
