Jamaican tops in 100 m

imageJamaican Usain Bolt proved once again that he is second to none in 100 m dash despite a stiff competition from American racer Gatlin in Beijing world athletes’ championship competitions. He clocked the distance in 19.55 seconds and won the gold in 200 m race. Yesterday also Bolt clocked 9.79 seconds in 100 m dash and he has an eye on another gold from 400 m relay racetomorrow. Gatlin settled down for a silver medal. In the women’s 400 m running race finals, American runner Allyson Felix won a gold medal. Indian Discuss thrower Vikas Gowd became eligible for finals in Group A.
