Janata pariwar to contest jointly in Bihar elections

Janata-Parivar-PTIThe CEC Nasim Jaidi informed that Bihar elections are likely to be held in September/October. The voters list would be ready by July 31. The CEC has not announced in how many stages the elections would be held.  The time limit for Bihar polls is scheduled to be Novermber 29. The official JDU has declared that the Janata parivar would contest the Bihar elections jointly. JDU general secretary K C Thyagi said that RJD, JDU and Samajwadi parties would jointly contest as janata parivar. This is a fight between janata parivar on one side and the BJP and its allies on the other, said Thyagi and added that Modi’s influence will not work.

A new party Jana kranthi as an official morcha was started in Bihar by Pappu Yadav alias Rajesh Ranjan, MP, who was expelled by RJD. Pappu made clear that his party would serve as a third political alternative. Activists and leaders in 100s from RJD would join their party and that they would fight the Assembly polls/, said Ranjan. And  BJP is confident of a win in the polls even at this juncture while tying up with LJP, Rashtriya Lok Samata parties,  said Bihar BJP chief Sushil Modi.
