The Apollo Hopitals in Chennai has released a health bulletin this evening which states that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha is responding to the treatment well and is being administered anti-biotics. A team of doctors has been on the job of monitoring the health condition round the clock, the release by Subbiah Viswanathan, COO said.
“We have taken key inputs from Richard Beale, an international specialist and consultant from the Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, who was flown in from the United Kingdom on September 30” he added.
Ms Jaya was on constant observation and advised rest for few more days, he added.
The Chief Minister has been battling with dehydration and fever and was admitted into the hospital on Sept 22.
