Jaya to contest, bye-poll on June 27

JayalalithaaTamilnadu chief minister Jayalalithaa is contesting from R K Nagar constituency in Chennai and filed her nomination without noise. The bye-election, which is created by the resignation of Vetrivel, is scheduled for June 27. She is supposed to be elected within six months. She assumed the office of the cm after she was given a clean chit by the Karnataka high court in the assets disproportionate case. The DMK boycotted the by-poll but the Congress party candidate Kushboo is likely offer fight to her. Karnataka government meanwhile has sent a letter to pay the bill of Rs 5.11 crore to Tamilnadu government in respect of assets case of Jaya. After apex court verdict, case was examined for 12 years in Karnataka. As Siddaramiah government has decided to move the apex court against Jaya, she has to face the court case again. She is in tension now.
