Jaya to decide on May 22

jayalalithaAnna DMK sources said that Jayalalithaa would take oath as chief minister of Tamilnadu on May 22, and decks have been cleared for the event. The AIADMK legislative party leaders would assemble on Friday to formally elect Jaya as the leader. Grounds have also been prepared for election of Jaya as an MLA within six months as stipulated. Petrivel, who represents Radhkrishna Nagar in north Chennai has resigned sacrificing his MLA post for his leader. speaker Dhanpal has approved his resignation. Jaya was elected from Srirangam in 2011 but she lost her cm and MLA posts following the assets case was filed against her.  But after the Karnataka high court acquitted her the route was cleared for her to occupy the cm’s post. She seems to be contesting from Radhakrishna Nagar.  But the party circles have not so far clarified it. She is expected to declare her decision on May 22 meeting.  Party circles expect that if she contests from Radhkrishna Nagar her victory would break the record.
