Jaya’s foes may move SC

JayalalithaaThe opponents of Jayalallithaa are sure to move the supreme court any day on the verdict delivered by Karnataka judge. That is the trend seen now. Objections still continue on the Karnataka court verdict in the assets case of Jayalalithaa, former chief minister and chief of ADMK. Her opponents – DMK and Opposition parties are planning to take the case forward. DMK chief M Karunanidhi announced that they have discussed with the government special public prosecutor B V Acharya. They may move the supreme court and this is said to be the only alternative. This was endorsed by the Congress leader Elangovan. He described the day when the Karnataka high court gave the verdict as a black day in the Indian legal administration. He opined that Karnataka government file a case against Jaya in the apex court. The BJP leader Subramanyam Swamy also studied the court ruling and said that he could prove wrong certain errors in the verdict. He commented in the twitter that Jaya has to resin once again if she assumes office of chief minister. The SPP of Karnataka also found fault with the ruling in Jaya’s case. He pointed out that court analysis in Jaya’s loans were said to be wrong. This would serve as a vital clue if an appeal is filed in the supreme court. However, they would decide about it only after further thinking on the subject.
