JDU legislators expelled for six years

JDU-legislators-expelled-foJanata Dal-United has axed two of its legislators for their controversial statements. The suspended party leaders are Gopalpur MLA Neeraj Kumar Mandal alias Gopal Mandal and party MLC Rana Gangeshwar. Earlier on Sunday, Mr. Mandal at a public meeting in Bhagalpur had declared that he was doing politics of murder and would continue to do so in the future too. Mandal said that the BJP leaders have been harassing him and even threatened him and his supporters that they would commit murder . If such an incident takes place the process of retaliation would start, Mandal said while expressing no “regret” for his comment. While the other legislator Rana Gangeshwar was expelled for his controversial remarks made on national anthem. He said that national anthem is an identity for slavery and demanded a change in the anthem.
