Jharkhand Governor faints, rushed to hospital

Jharkhand-Governor-Faints-iJharkhand Governor Syed Ahmed had to be rushed to hospital as he fainted while speaking on the occasion of Independence Day at Dumka, Jharkhand.

“He fell ill and was brought to Sadar Hospital. There is nothing to worry about,” attending doctor at the hospital Dr Ramesh Verma told reporters here.

“The Governor has been discharged from the hospital and is being taken to Raj Bhavan in Ranchi,” informed Dumka deputy commissioner Harsha Mangla.

Dumka is the second capital of Jharkhand from where the Governor speaks on Independence Day. The 69-year-old Governor was deputed to Jharkhand on September 4, 2011 as the eighth governor of the state.
