JNU row: Umar and Anirban get bail

Patiala House Court today granted bail to Jawaharlal Nehru University students Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, who have been accused of raising anti-national slogans in the varsity campus on February 9th. The court said each student must furnish a bail bond of Rs 25,000 and an equal amount in surety, two weeks after fellow JNU student and sedition accused Kanhaiya Kumar was granted bail under similar terms.
