Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today gave assurance to the effect that a notification for 25,000 jobs will be released in July. Speaking after hoisting the national flag at the Parade Grounds on the eve of the TS formation day he also assured that 24 X 7 power supply would be achieved. Stating that self-sufficiency would be achieved in the power sector, Rao announced that foundation stone would be laid for Damacharla power plant. State formation day celebrations began on a joyous note.
Referring to the Mission Kakatiya, the cm asserted that the erstwhile glory would be returned with the said programme. All the tanks, reservoirs and lakes would be full with water in the coming years as efforts were going on in that direction. Further he assured that 300 crore saplings would be planted as part of the scheme to turn the State into a green belt. Stating that his government gave top priority to welfare schemes, the cm said that even unlisted items in their election manifesto were being implemented.
