As the EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test), conducted for admission into B.Tech or MBBS, will be conducted jointly for both the Telugu states, AP and Telangana this year. The format of the exam has a percentage of Intermediate exam marks included in the final result of the entrance test. Authorities feel that the separate exam of Intermediate for both the states with a joint entrance test may ruin the whole purpose with unsorted confusion.
The latest reports are that the authorities are sincerely in a mood to conduct a common Intermediate class 12 exam too for this year. The officials think that having different question papers in both the states may raise confusion and the process complicated.
The Intermediate exam will be held in March 2015 and the officials think that the time from now is not sufficient for bifurcation of the Board of Intermediate Education.
Chandrababu Naidu has agreed to discuss the matter with his T-state counterpart. The matter will have to be solved soon to make the confusion out of the students’ mind.
