June WPI inflation down to 5.43% compared to 6.01% in May

The Wholesale Price Index based inflation has come down slightly to 5.43% in the month of June compared to 6.01% in May. The reduction is mostly the result of several restrictions imposed on food products exporting. The higher industrial output also improves the scenario, giving hopes of economic revival, though the worries over weak monsoon still continue.
