Today K Ravindra Kumar the CPI leader demanded that K Chandrasekhar Rao the Telangana Chief Minister to initiate steps to amend Arogyasri scheme to enable people to get surgeries and operations of any type without any delay.
A cheque for Rs 1 lakh under was presented by the CPI MLA under CM Relief Fund to Ujjini Rameswar Rao of Gadiya Gouraram in Nalgonda district.
Later while speaking to press reporters he expressed concern that, “Arogyasri scheme is failing to cater to the needs of accident victims, emergency cases and others suffering from injuries and diseases in the State. Keeping the accidents and other diseases in view, the Chief Minister should take immediate measures”.
He further added, “The scheme should provide immediate health services of surgeries and operations to those who meet with accidents, emergency cases and have any diseases that are not listed in the scheme, he said. It is for the government to inculcate confidence among people that the government will extend a helping hand when in need”.
