One of the major political hubs of Telangana, Karimnagar would soon get a ring road. The cabinet sub-committee under the guidance of Deputy Chief Minister Dr. T Rajaiah has recommended that several cities in the state including Karimnagar should have ring roads for smooth flow of traffic. Announcing about the ring road in Karimnagar, T Rajaiah said the work would begin in one month in Karimnagar.
Karimnagar sees a flow of about 2 Lakh vehicles every day, including transportation vehicles.
The concerned officials have been directed to prepare master plan in this regard. The other cities which would soon get a ring road are Warangal, Khamman, Sangareddy, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda district headquarters.
The guidelines provided by Indian Roads Congress shall be strictly followed to laid these ring roads, announced T Rajaiah.
