Karnataka Highcourt dismisses case against Latha Rajanikanth

lathaThe Karnataka High Court has quashed a case against Latha Rajinikanth, wife of Tamil film star Rajinikanth, and three others registered against them in Ulsoor Gate police station.The complaint was filed in September last year in connection with the movie Kochadaiyaan. According to the complaint, Latha had submitted forged documents to obtain an injunction on an earlier order.  The private complaint in the magistrate court was directed to the Ulsoor police station for investigation, which was challenged by Latha in the high court. The high court dismissed the contentions of the complainant as without proof. The complainant had also failed to produce any relevant documents in support of their case. The dispute dates back to 2014 when a financial dispute arose during the production of the film. Latha Rajinikanth had obtained an injunction against the media from publishing news about the alleged financial dispute.
