Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao reportedly eyeing all the 12 MLC seats from Local Bodies constituency in the state that are set to poll in February next year. The toughest seat for TRS to win is from Nalgonda, where Congress dominates the local bodies. KCR is not agree to leave that one seat to Congress and he allegedly attempted to lure the stalwart Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to shift his loyalties along with his brother.
Reportedly, KCR held a closed-room meeting with Komtireddy in his chambers in Assembly, in which the CM threw several offers to the Congress MLA from Nalgonda.
However, no deal has been finalized yet between the two. Komatireddy demanded assurance on a Rajya Sabha seat to his brother former Bhongir MP Mr Rajagopala Reddy in the 2016 RS polls.
