K. Chandrasekhar Rao the Telangana Chief Minister assures that the living standard of the Anganwadi workers will improve. CM also assured them for making partners in the development programs put into practice at village level.
In an interaction with Anganwadi workers, helpers and supervisors assembled from districts On Saturday the CM said, the government was committed to modify Anganwadi centres in the State as the best in the country.
The Chief Minister invited suggestions on different aspects of the functioning of Anganwadi centres.
At the meeting the implementation of ‘Kalyana Laxmi’ and ‘Arogya Laxmi’ schemes were also discussed.
CM assuring the wage increase said that it would be implemented since March itself. And he also announced that based on their experience and academic qualifications, the supervisor posts would be filled with Anganwadi workers and would be given priority in other posts too.
Along with the assuring the wages, provision of life insurance cover, food security cards, Aasara pensions, the water supply to the Anganwadi centres would be implemented soon by the Government said KCR.
