Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has urged the collectors of all districts to prepare a road map for a planned and enduring development of all new districts. Directing them to prepare a map with a slogan “Know your districts and plan for the district”, he said- “ a big reform has been brought in with the formation of districts and it is up to the officers to prepare local planning for the next 8-10 years”
Addressing a meeting of officials on the new districts at Camp Office today, Mr Rao said-“now since the districts small in area and reach, you can focus on every family. The total number of families is just around four lakh in each district. You can easily ensure all welfare and developmental programmes reach the beneficiaries. You can check graft and ensure transparency” .
Stating that corruption should end in revenue department, the Chief minister asked for people should not go round offices for certificates hereafter. “Most of the collectors are young and they have a desire to work hard to do something. Let us allow them to work. The seniors shall give advices to the youngsters. Officials should strive hard to eliminate gudumba from villages. Youngsters should focus on taking up agriculture as profession” KCR said.
