KCR Focus on Nizam’s jewellery to get back

kcrHyderabad: The famed Nizam jewellery has been displayed in Hyderabad but got stalled for the lack of proper site and security.

The Telangana government is eyeing these jewels in the custody of the centre and stashed in RBI vaults. Reportedly Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao held a preliminary discussion with senior officials and others and the matter will be pursued with the Centre shortly.

They also came up with discussions on skyscrapers with the famous architect Hafeez contractor. Salarjung Museum authorities were also consulted.

Senior Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) official said “We had a preliminary discussion on the issue. We are looking at various ways and means, including the legal position to get the jewellery to Hyderabad for permanent display.
