KCR in Delhi to Discuss Power Crisis and Separate High Court

KCR-delhiChief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao late on Thursday left for Delhi to discuss the issues related to the state with the Centre. His visit also includes a meeting with the Chief Justice of India in New Delhi.

KCR may demand for a separate High Court for Telangana. He is scheduled to meet the Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad to discuss on the issue. Justice HL Dattu, the Chief Justice of India will also be acknowledged by KCR for a separate High Court. KCR would convince the authorities for smooth running of two high courts from the same premises till the AP high court shifts to its new capital.

KCR also plans to meet Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Power in order to bring in his notice about the current shortage of power in the state. KCR would seek additional power allocation to the state.

KCR would also meet Union Minister for Finance and Defence Arun Jaitley who is recovering after a surgery.
