The TRS Chief KCR is continuing with his thanks giving meetings with Central Leaders. Today he has met the Prime Minister Sri Man Mohan Singh thanked him and gave a list of seven key demands that would immensely help the state waiting to be born. Though the exact list of demands are not revealed, the main issues are said to address the final realization of the new State and its welfare.
TRS General Secretary, former Congress leader K Keshava Rao accompanied KCR and reportedly asked for speeding up the process of states creation. He asked the PM to take measures to create the state before the general elections, unless which the public of Telangana will still feel the dream of separate state unrealized, he said. The PM has agreed to report the matter to the Home Minister for necessary action, said KK.
The Prime Minister has asked the visitors to work and create congenial atmosphere between the two regions again. KCR is said to have reminded the PM of the 400 year old history of multicultural life in Hyderabad as a symbol to the spirit of brotherhood in the region.
Mean while, a senior leader of TRS, Vinod has stated that 90% of TRS workers are demanding the party to continue the work of re building the Telangana society by being in the fore front. They are opposing the merging of the party with Congress, he said. He demanded that the future of Telangana will be secure only under the leadership of KCR. KCR’s understanding and vision for the region is irreplaceable and hence, the leader has to play a bigger role in the future of the new state, he declared.
