KCR Might Skip the Vemulawada Trip

KCR-Might-Skip-the-VemulawaKarimnagar: Chief minister KCR wants to skip Vemulawada visit on astrologer’s advice. As the divine repercussions he is not visiting Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam on Maha Shivratri on Feb 17 to present silk clothing to lord Shiva as per custom.

The astrologers have advised KCR that offering prayers at this ancient temple might affect his political career. In general elections he had promised to visit and strive hard to develop it as it was ignored by previous government s headed by Seemandhra leaders. The electorate of Vemulawada Assembly had even voted TRS ramesh babu in power.

“As peer advice of some astrologers, Mr Rao always follows before starting a programme, he won’t visit the temple. The most probably he will not present silk clothing to the deity of the temple, either a minister or legislator will take the responsibility”, said TRS source.

And the officials had not been finalised yet, he would come for the annual three-day jatara, one of the largest congregation in the district. He is hoping that he would bestow some sops on the town. The temple registers around Rs 50 crore incomes per annum.
