KCR, Naidu Want Favourite IAS Officers Under Them, Pin Hopes on Modi

The Pratyush Sinha committee on allocation of All India Service officers has refused to change the state cadre, leaving the matter over to the Department of Training and Personnel.

The committee left the task to make changes in the provisional list to DoPT and come out with the final allotment list.

The governments of recently bifurcated states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, have pinned their hopes with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi now. The Chief Ministers, K Chanrasekhara Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu are waiting for Modi’s return from Japan to take the matter to his office.

Naidu, an ally of centre’s NDA, have already written to Prime Minister to allot three senior officers to AP, namely, P.V. Ramesh, J.S.V. Prasad and IPS officer Anuradha. Their names were listed for Telangana in the provisional list.

The Telangana government seeks GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar to be allotted to Telangana whose name appeared in AP’s provisional list.
