Pointing out that K. Chandrasekhar Rao the Telangana Chief Minister had failed to get an appointment to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit to the national capital, Jeevan Reddy the Senior Congress leader and former minister said KCR was not fit to be chief minister of the State.
On Tuesday while taking to the reporters at Assembly media point Jeevan Reddy said the Chief Minister of the 29th State of the country could not meet even Union Minister for Power for demanding the State’s rights under AP Reorganization Act, 2015. He further added, the depressed farmers committed suicides because of KCR’s failure to solve the power problem in the State.
He lambasted the TS CM for not guiding properly the State administration to fight legally with AP government on the matters relating to sharing of power as per State’s Reorganization Act. Jeevan Reddy urged KCR to go to Delhi again and consult with Central Government or file a petition in the Supreme Court on power and water issues.
He also pointed that at the time of AP bifurcation, by knowing the fact that the gap in demand and supply in the Telangana State was wide, and then by allocating more power to it UPA government took a decision in favor of Telangana State. But, the present Telangana government failed to utilize the clause and doing nothing.
