In the midst of the hard-time being faced by Andhra Pradesh under the wrap of ‘Hudhud’, there was something to smile. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao, the hardcore opponent of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, has offered the help to the cyclone-hit state.
Mr. Rao asked his officials to create a contact with the officials of AP to offer help.
“Rao has directed Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma to convey this to Andhra Pradesh government”, says an official statement by the Chief Minister Office.
It was reported that the chief secretary of Telangana spoke to the chief secretary of AP to offer assistance in the relief work.
Cyclone Hudhud hit the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh claiming 8 lives till now, and made about Rs. 10.000 Crore worth losses.
