KCR’s Morphed Photo on Social Media, Case Registered

kcr-morphedAn employee of Maulana Azad National Urdu University is under the trap of the law for allegedly morphing a photo of Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhara Rao on the social media.

Waseem Ahmed, President of Telangana Muslim Advocates Forum registered a FIR with Nampally Police against Wajihus Shams, a non-teaching employee of MANUU. Shams had posted a photo of KCR allegedly showing him as a eunuch.

“By doing so, he has damaged the reputation of the Chief Minister and Telangana state,” Mr Waheed said.

The advocate also alleged that the accused has threatened him with dire consequences if he did not withdraw his complain.

Inspector P Raju said that the case has been registered under Section 66 (A) of the IT Act, 2008 and has taken up investigation.
