Keen contest for MLC seat

BJPA keen contest for the fifth MLC seat is imminent as the ruling party has fielded its candidate for the same to oppose the candidate on yellow cycle. The TRS is determined to capture the fifth seat also as seen. The ruling party earlier has not fielded any candidate for the fifth seat in the MLC elections and it has become a debatable point in the State politics. TRS has decided to target the TDP in an attempt to checkmate the TDP for defeat of its candidate. As part of it the TRS allowed a contest in the MLC polls, which were to be held unanimously. The TRS has decided not to contest the fifth seat while offering the saffron party to claim the left out seat. However the Lotus leaders did not utilise the chance. As part of a scheme to cooperate with the BJP to forge ahead in Telangana and seeking a berth in the Union ministry, the TRS held up nominations by its candidates till afternoon.

The pink leaders waited in fond hope that the saffron party would respond positively to their offer but the tables were turned by the TDP supremo, who enjoys full support from the Central leaders. Naidu sensing danger rushed to consult the saffron brigade and took their signatures on the nominations filed by TDP candidate in advance. But a couple of BJP MLAs were ready to grab the TRS offer. Their attempt did not materialise as majority in the BJP opted to support the candidate on cycle. However, there seems to be unrest in the saffron camp that their party missed a chance to grab a seat in the council.
