kejri, Centre on war path

Arvind-Kejriwal3_PTI1Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made clear that Opposition parties Congress and BJP were coming in their way to end corruption. Speaking at auto men agitation he said that Glameen was appointed as the temporary chief secretary by the Lieutenant Governor Jung with an ulterior motive to create a power lobby. And both parties were supporting Jung, he alleged. Kejri asserted that his government would wait for 10 days and then come out with a plan how to deal with the situation. Centre was interfering in his government affairs and blocking the developmental activities, he said. On the other, Union Home Minister of State Kiran Rijiju pointed out that Kejriwal was not out of the purview of the Constitution and authority.

Kiran opined that Kejri must act as one who is responsible and accountable to the elected government. The union minister also said that they would not tolerate any attack against Glameen as it would mean a humiliation to the north Indians. Congress too made a blistering against Kejri. Former chief minister of Delhi Sheela Dixit stated that Glameen served Delhi government for years together and that she faced no corruption charges. Kejri was unnecessarily creating an issue over the officers’ matter. On the whole the appointment of chief secretary of Delhi created a political heat. The Aap government – Opposition war turned out to be an interesting issue today and the Delhi people are awaiting the outcome.
