Kerala taking Left turn, Mamta surges ahead, close fight in TN

Assembly-electionsThe Left Democratic Front in Kerala led by CPI (M) is ahead of its rival, the Congress-led UDF, as per the trends available. Out of 140 seats, trends of around 90 seats available and out of which LDF is leading in around 48 seats. UDF is trailing in several constituencies but its performance is not that bad. It is ahead in 32 seats. Its Mamata Banerjee again in West Bengal as the firebrand leader led its party to a remarkable win, crushing the Marxists. TMC is leading in 36 seats whereas CPI M is in just one seat. Interestingly, BJP is gaining in several constituencies and established lead in 3 seats. In Assam, BJP appears to be winning scoring good leads in more than 17 seats whereas Congress in just 7. It’s a see-saw battle in Tamil Nadu with AIADMK slightly ahead in 46 seats, followed by DMK in 39 seats
