TS Minister for Information Technology K T Rama Rao left for the US while making the super power as his target for inviting heavy investments. He is expected to brief the American industrialists during his two week tour. Rao will inform them about the single window system, TS I-pass, tax and motivations for investment in TS.
He would list out the favourable situations to tap their investments. He will attend meetings in Washington DC, Dallas, New York, Pittsburg and campaign for investments. Rao will specially interact with those from Telangana and highlight the craze for mega city.
Besides, the minister has decided to promote the industrial policy along with the activities taken up to develop Hyderabad. Opportunities in the IT and pharma sectors will be informed along with the conducive climate for investments and about the prestigious schemes begun in TS.
The minister will specially give a power point presentation on subsidies announced under the slogan ‘ made in Telangana – made in India ‘, industrial policy under a heading TS I – pass. T hub, Task schemes will also figure in his presentation. He would also attend a special dinner along with Indian Ambassodor Arun K Singh.
IT secretary Jayesh Ranjan and other important officers would accompany the minister. After meeting business men on May 7, he would meet the same evening NRIs. The next day he would discuss with ceo and faculty of Mylan university in Pittsburg. On May 9, Rao will have a breakfast and lunch meetings with business men and then meet the NRIs.
On May 10, he will go to San Fransisco. Next day he will switch on an event on ‘ make in India ‘ in Palo Alto.
