Land Regularisation Scheme in the State

land-sckmeHyderabad: The TS government has ‘land regularisation scheme’ turned out to be a ‘big flop’ due to poor response ahead to come out with a ‘building regularisation scheme’. Guidelines for the building regularisation scheme are being drafted which will be sent to the government for approval. Earlier the government had hoped to earn 5000 crore through LRS but could get only Rs 11 crore so far.
And left for the February 28 deadline to end for LRS, the chance of getting even Rs 15 crore revenue looks break. The GOs 58 and 59 in January to regularisation. Go 58 was aimed at regularising lands free of cost for poor up to 125 sq.yards.And GO 59 was aimed at regularising lands over 125 sq.yards by collecting registration charges as per market rates. And other TRS is now exploring ‘BRS option’ to earn revenue and other things.
