The Telangana BJP has released it’s manifesto today. Party chief Kishan Reddy, Dattatreya, V Ramarao, Indrasena Reddy and others participated in the event. The Telangana BJP has created a vision document with close resemblance to the central BJP manifesto, adding the sixth T – Transparency to the five T’s announced earlier, (Tradition, Technology, Tourism, Trade and Talent), explained Kishan Reddy.
The party promises nine hour quality free electricity to farmers, 85% subsidy to solar electricity generation, 4000 MW thermal plant at Manuguru, another 4000 plant at Bhoopalpally. Singareni mine working employees will be exempted from income tax.
PPP model will be used for industrial development, Warangal will be turned into a Tech hub.
Under program “Pratibha Kamalam,” students figuring in top 25,000 ranks in engineering entrance test, top 500 in medicine test, and another 500 figuring in MBA test will be given free laptops. All girls in top 2000 EAMCET, top 100 in MBA will get one lakh cash award.
The Telangana martyrs families will be given 10 lakhs, or 3 acres arrable land or 200 yards housing plot in Hyderabad apart from a pension to family members. A memorial will also be built.
Efforts to give Pranahita Chevella project national status will be undertaken. Most of the old lakes and ponds of Telangana will be revived.
