Peddapalli MP Vivek is continuing his tour of Karimanagar district. He visited Dharmaram, Velgaturu villages this morning. He was given a traditional welcome with Batukamma and Bonalu by the villagers. TRS MLA Koppula Eshwar representing the Dharmapuri constituency of which these villages are a part was accompanying the parliamentarian.
MP Vivek offered prayers to Ambedkar’s statue in Dharmaram. Speaking to the public on the occasion, he said “Seemandhra leaders who are announcing tour programs of the region don’t have any moral right to set foot here…. We should all work together and strive to make Telangana number one state in all aspects. As per the assurances of our leader sri KCR, SC’s and ST’s will be given three acres land per family to make themselves self reliant. All kids, irrespective of their caste, or religion will be given KG to PG compulsory education.”
Sri Vivek has also criticized the claims of both BJP and Congress leadership for the credit of Telangana. He has said that it is actually the resignations of the Congress MPs including himself which forced the Congress leadership to speedup the process of Telangana creation.
MLA Koppula Eshwar, who accompanied the MP, praised Vivek’s contributions as “relentless, instrumental.”
