Make Films Thro’ Mobiles, kids told

International-childrenUnion Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said Hyderabad may become a permanent venue to conduct International children’s film festival. He observed this at the inaugural function of 19th International Children’s Film Festival of India at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on Saturday. India has
talented children and called upon children to make short films through cell phones and upload on internet to showcase their talent. Stating
that India is a land of creativity and story telling, Rathore wished the festival a grand success. French film ‘Ernest et Celestine’ which
won Golden Elephant Award in the 18th edition of ICFFI was also nominated for Oscar award. Chairperson Mukesh Khanna said Indian mythological texts spoke about “vasudaiva kutumbikam’ which mean’”the world is one family” and such events proved the saying. Minster of Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav said the State Government made arrangements for the success of festival.
