Former BJP leader Jaswant Singh’s condition is still critical; lying in coma in the Intensive Care Unit of the Army’s Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi. The former union minister, who went into coma after suffering a head injury at his residence, is on life support systems, under continuous monitoring by a group of neurosurgeons and critical care providers.
In the meantime, former prime minister Manmohan Singh checked about his health visiting R&R hospital today.
Prime minister Narendra Modi spoke to Mr. Singh’s family yesterday on phone shortly after he was apprised about his condition.
Rahul Gandhi, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Sharad Pawar, his daughter Supriya Sule, Rajnath Singh and other have paid a visit to the hospital to enquire about his health.
The former union minister was found unconscious around11pm at his residence last night. 76-year-old Jaswant Singh is believed to have fallen at his residence and sustained severe injuries, for which he has been operated early morning yesterday.
