Maoists on the rise again?

available as three more Maoists surfaced on Friday followed by two of
them killed in an encounter in Warangal district on Wednesday. Coupled
with these incidents past reports that they were on the run in the
agency areas and villages in the district sent jitters among the cops.
They seem to have fled from neighbouring States to escape encounters
there. Recently their leaders are said to be moving under the cover of
forests Adilabad and Warangal while others were busy evolving
strategies to strengthen their party. Besides engaged in people’s
problems they issued statements on Sirpur Paper Mills’ stir. Police
suspected that Maoists’ strength is on the rise and started combing
operations in the districts which triggered tension among the gullible
