The Modi government has decided to go into masses to inform what it had done during their one year rule. It has planned to depute the ministers and leaders to go round the country and apprise the people about their progress with an intention to check the Opposition criticism. A schedule has been prepared for each minister to tour for two or three days to give publicity to their one year rule. As part of the nation-wide celebrations to mark one year in office, the saffron government has decided to conduct 200 public meetings and 5000 division level meetings for a month. Home Minister Rajnath Singh is expected to tour Kolkatha, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajkot while Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj will tour Dehrdun and Bhopal. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will tour Ahmedabad, Amrutsar, Bhopal and Parliamentary minister Venkiah Naidu will tour Pune, Bhuvaneshwar, Bhilai.
Defence Minister Manohar Parikar will go round Raipur, Chennai, Mumbai cities. Transport Minister Nitiin Gadkari will tour Patna, Delhi, Mumbai while Law Minister Sadananda Gowda will visit Trivandrum, Ernakulam, Tiruchur, Kottayama and Alleppi. Water Resources minister Uma Bharathi will visit Meerut, Gurgaon, Patna villages while HRD minister Smriti will tour Amethi, Midnapur, Silchar. Minister Rajywardhan Rathode will visit TS and Aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju will visit Tirupati today. Even the State leaders also decided to be part of this programme and conduct blood donation camps, supply fruits and clothes. The saffron party leaders would conduct the publicity drive in 60 cities in 30 days.
