Meteorological Department Stated That 2014 is Hottest

Meteorological-DepartmentHyderabad: Meteorological Department has recorded that the 2014 was the hottest in about 40 years. Whereas, monsoon was worse, recording with a temperature since 1971.The average temperature for the country as a whole was 33.13 Celsius, which was 1 Celsius higher than normal. In 2014 stayed higher 1-2 Celsius in both states.

According to the report second highest mean temperature at 28.82 clesius.It rises at 0.86 and in 2009 its 29.03 Celsius.

The minimum temperature in winter was above normal by 1 Celsius throughout the country except over some parts of the east coast and in some isolated places, he said.

At different places in the state it is warmer like in hilly areas. Whereas, the saving grace was the southwest monsoon period, which was cooler than normal, the IMD report said.
