After the posthumous “Xscape” album, Michael Jackson’s song video “A Place with no Name” made debut on twitter last night. This is the first ever video post for twitter! The song is part of the Xscape album released by Michael Jackson Estate in May this year, which is a modernisation of the 1972 hit “A Horse With No Name.”
The single had a New York City Times Square video debut as well, apart from a teaser on Fox network. Jackson recorded “A Place With No Name” in 1998 at Record Plant Recording Studio in Los Angeles, sampling the familiar sound of the 1970s record. Samuel Bayer directed the video, which included MJ’s footage from the 1991 “In the Closet” video.
The song video shows visuals of a couple’s amorous adventure, coupled with MJ’s signature moves and few shots of personal nature that show him laughing and watching over the sea.
