MIM Asked To Take CAG Report into Cognisance

MIM-Floor-leader-AkbaruddinHyderabad: The MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi asked the government to take CAG report into cognisance and irregularities in land allotments, especially in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.
“The 2011-12 CAG report detected grave irregularities in the allotment of lands to various institutions. As much as 88,492 acres were allotted to just 127 beneficiaries. There was no transparency in this process and no public interest is involved. They failed to create jobs.
Why can’t the TS government order a probe to find out the irregularities in alienation of valuable lands in Hyderabad and RR districts in undivided state? We demand the government to take steps in this regard at the earliest,” Mr Owaisi said.
“YSR was the only Chief Minister, who took concrete measures for the welfare of minorities. His role in giving 4 per cent reservations for Muslims in education and jobs cannot be forgotten ever,” Mr Owaisi said.
He extended other major benefits like fee reimbursement scheme, scholarships for students, Arogyasri and loans to minorities on saturation-basis,” Mr Owaisi said.
